Provisional Certificate To Be Taken, If Registration Certificate Has been Lost
21. Provisional certificate to be taken, if registration certificate has been lost :
(1) If the registration certificate of any Nepalese ship has been lost, damaged or any alteration has been made in the details mentioned in such certificate pursuant to Clause (b) of Sub-rule (1) of Rule 16 of the Act, than the master of the ship shall submit an application also mentioning the reason, in the nearest Nepalese consulate or diplomatic office.
(2) Fifty Rupees or local currency of equivalent value as the fee shall be submitted along with the application submitted pursuant to Sub- rule (1).
(3) If the description mentioned in the application submitted pursuant to Sub-rule (1) has been proved appropriate (reasonable) the concerned consulate or diplomatic office shall issue a provisional certificate of Nepalese Nationality pursuant to Rule 14.
(1) If the registration certificate of any Nepalese ship has been lost, damaged or any alteration has been made in the details mentioned in such certificate pursuant to Clause (b) of Sub-rule (1) of Rule 16 of the Act, than the master of the ship shall submit an application also mentioning the reason, in the nearest Nepalese consulate or diplomatic office.
(2) Fifty Rupees or local currency of equivalent value as the fee shall be submitted along with the application submitted pursuant to Sub- rule (1).
(3) If the description mentioned in the application submitted pursuant to Sub-rule (1) has been proved appropriate (reasonable) the concerned consulate or diplomatic office shall issue a provisional certificate of Nepalese Nationality pursuant to Rule 14.
